Got to the pier about 9:30am. Bait was tough to get all day. About 10ish saw some boneheads crashing bait so I figured Id focus on that. Ended up catching one, had 2 missed hooksets , and one broke me off when he went underneath me and headed to Egmont Key at mach 5. Bonito = speed. Saw a few other people land a few here and there, they were all over the place today. Fishonandoff made an appearance around 2pm. We fished till about 6pm and headed out. Had the guy who helped me land it snap a pic with my phone. Not a fat albert, but I'll take it!

BigMike, what were you using as bait?? Nice variety. Id make a horrible pier employee. Id never get anything done, Id be too tempted to wet a line every 5 minutes or so. lol
Doubleo, welcome aboard. Were you at the end of the pier or were you fishing in between the spans where I caught that fish?
David, weve got more than enough nets, come on down! And bring some decals with ya, Ill take a few off your hands.
Hey Rich, I forgot to give you that $5 yesterday. Ill bring it with me Sunday.
Looks like we're gonna have quite the crew out there Sunday. Good times!

I did it again this morning two keeper seabass one keeper mango giant pinfish. I was fishing the west side of the pier just outside the bait shop doors. My son gave me a break for about 20 mins. Live shrimp on a #2 baitholder hook right to the bottom get the slack out of the line fast or you missed the bite its that quick. The guy on my left could not believe it he was in my spot not ten mins. before and no hits. tight lines
PS. Todays tournament winner on the nsp had a two pound sheephead. Second place was 1 pound 15 oz. sheephead.
