I believe that place heats up around April. Lots of trout start rolling in every night and snook will be thick by end of April and stay until around October. Also great spot for sharkfishing the best 1 I know of by far. Had a couple on last year for an hour or so. Then they just decided to turn up the heat on me and my 65lb. power pro I had on and went ahead and spooled my ass. I would say easy ten footers maybe lookin at bigger ones.

jab it gets good all around that area in April. Never really fished the marina hard, but I have heard reports of some real monster snook coming out of there, caught on freelined jumbo shrimp. I fish the 3 docks mostly, lures of choice and the only lures I use out there are 1/16 or 1/8 oz. white crappie jigs in the lights close to the docks and seawall for trout and snook. And 2oz. redtail hawks and bomber lures as far as I can cast them under that bridge out there for the whopper linesiders. A popping cork and live shrimp work well for the trout around the docks in the lighted area if you prefer livebait. Biggest catches from those docks, 34inch cobia caught on a huge greenaback, 35 inch redfish caught on shrimp, a doormat monster flounder caught on a finger mullet, blacktip shark aroun 4 feet caught on cut bait, 26 inch trout caught on I can't remember and of course 45 inch snook caught on a live trout. Def. a great spot when the fish are there and the water is warm.
