It was cold and windy this morning but daddy's little girl wanted to go fishing so off we went. We got to the NSP around 8:00 and of course she wants to fish in the only shaded spot on the pier instead of in the sun where it is warm! We set up shop next to the bathrooms and started drowning some squid chunks since there were no greenies around. Yes i said squid chunks; not those wimpy little this strips you get from the bait shop buddy. Picked up some chunks from Holy Mackeral Tackle that had to be cut into smaller chunks to fit on the hook. Bite was on and off but we managed about 7 or 8 seabass (3 keepers, 2 - 11 1/2" and 1- 14" beast), 1 10" gag, 1 puffer and a handful of small pin fish. We finally had enough around 11:30 when the tide started to head back out. Definitely better than working! ;D
