Sounds good gents, looking forward to it. Been a long time Steve, I know you got pretty pissed at the closing as did we all. I for one ain't giving up what we got left, does put the squeeze on the weekends though, half the pier, all the crowd.

All right Bill, always a pleasure. I'll fill the live well with some nice Pins, Grunts, whatever. Should start out just short of the baithouse.

Well for those that didn't make it, you did not miss much. Tides were slow at best, freelining was real hard but manageable. Bill and I gave it one heck of a try. I did finally manage a 18" right at the tide change. Thursday night was no better, hit every hole I could remember, nada. Friday brought pretty much the same for the morning. On my way out I decided to give it one more try. Tide was almost dead, wind had picked up right in my face so I switched to the bait runner to get a little more casting distance. Threw it as hard as I could, maybe 80-90 feet, 20 seconds later, bam, a 24", next cast same thing, 20-30 seconds and fish on, this time a 16". Then as quick as it had started, it ended. I was smelling Skunk bad, that last stop, right at slack tide saved the day.

10-4, I stopped where we ended up on Thursday. Same thing, slack tide, fish hitting it almost when it hit the water.
