Yeah def. know what ur talkin about with the cobia. I have only managed 1 keeper that was around 34 inches and I'll just say those filets didn't need any seaoning, that's how flavorful the meat in those brown bombers are.

Thanks Trucky.... I was trying to figure out what to have fer dinner, and your post reminded me there was still a few steaks in the freezer... Lemon, Butter,Garlic, and smoke. Nope never tried cobia........ Ive heard mixed reviews.. mostly bad.. but if im fortunate to land a keeper you better believe im gonna give it to my BELLY!! All fish are edible.... Well not all.. i leave exception out for False albecore...bonitA... yuck! Hmm ive never had a "Bearded clam" mine are all shaven..

i totaly forgot about the flounder i got last year. it was by far the best feesh i ever had.so i am changing my vote
fishslayer, i been dying to get a 33incher. i caught about 5 and all were under.now i want one even more since ya say there so good.

flounder is excellent when you stuff it with crab cake stuffing and slap it on the grill for 5 minutes. mmmmmm!

I'll give you Mahi Mahi, definitely a great eating and fighting fish. I have never tried Barracuda, always worried about Cigatarra. It's highest in the larger ones, just too many other good eating fish to take a chance.
