Ok while im on my vacay next week just to piddle around with i think i am gonna try a chum block, is there any trick to using these and are they only for shark?
There is a bridge i can fish off of but will a chum block work on the beach?, i plan on using the sheep head trick mentioned earlier this week with the paper bag, but i got all week so i wanna try some new stuff. How hard is it to make a chum block do i really need to grind up the fish cuz i dont wanna spend money on a grinder, can i just cut up a lady fish into like eighths and throw it in some cheeze cloth?
Well if you got any insight let me know?

wally world has a cheap, yet effective grinder for $20 in the sporting section. grinding the meat gives you a better slick I think, but if you dont feel like doing all the work. Just filet a few macks (or whatever you have) tie a roap around the tails and toss em over.

anchor up and hang a chum block over the side. on an outgoing tide. then cast out some shrimp or a lure or something
