A word of caution to everybody. The new signs are up now. Speed Limit has been changed to 5 miles per hour. No Tresspassing on east span. And the Bears ARE handing out greenstamps.
Fish On! (slowly) LOL

So what does that come out to, 15 minutes end to end or half hour pier commute?

I'm a rebel. I'll do 7 mph all day long.

That's just about walkin' speed. My contention from the beginning. Don't allow any vehicles. Break out the carts like the good old days. It would also cure the overcrowding problem. Loved those trecks out to the "curve" in olden times. Separates the men from the boys. Maybe the "pier" would have lasted a lot longer if they had never allowed traffic on it from the beginning. I will have to admit that it was/is convienient to park right next to the spot you were/are going to fish. If my memory serves me right, the push out with the cart wasn't bad, because of the anticipation, but the walk back in in the morning sure seemed long. I'm for stopping all traffic, but I haven't fished the bridge since they closed one half. You just think that everything will always stay the same. Everything will always be there. It won't. Wake up America!
