Lots of bait. Overcast morning, so I didnt even see the sun. Free line some greenbacks. Mostly caught between 6-7am. I fished at the front but the guy who free line using a little bobber caught six from 6-6:30am at the end of the pier. I saw anyone spooning caught an average of 5. Mac’s seems to be in the 15-16” range. Pair of dolphins show up at 8 and scare the Mac’s away.

Certainly looks like they are back! Let's all hope this is a bumper crop year!

I think there is a small cold front next Monday. Maybe it’ll pick up Thursday for the 4 day tide.
Reports of macs being caught at the Gulf Pier Fort Desoto Friday. Unknown about Sat/Sun.
I like fishing incoming tide at FortDeSoto. I seem to have better luck there than Skyway.
A guy told me Mac’s chew it up Sunday right before the high tide at 4pm between Noon-4pm at the SSP.
