Dang bro, how do you stay there all day in this heat? I used to work in roofing so this heat is nothing but I'm not gonna lie to you today was hotter than any other day I've been out there

Nice catch. I was on South side today with wife and a friend. Got a nice keeper 11" Mangrove snapper near entrance.... then 3 nice Mack's between 17"-20". Missed/lost another 4 on the flip. Another few weeks and I think it will pick up. Threads all over...but it is the small white bait that brings in the Mack's. The last 200 yards to the end is where the small bait was...and where I caught all the Mack's. Cotton Cordell cc spoon. Both 3/4 and 1/2 oz worked. 3/4 works better if the Mack's hit the surface...as it sinks faster so that you can retrieve. Good luck out there!

If the weather holds up tomorrow I'll try again but it seems the afternoon is when they strike more. Tight lines brother.
