They must have been running away from the SSP. There was none caught today!

I fished incoming tide this year 3 times in the morning and I didn’t catch anything. I just don’t know how and where to fish on incoming tides.

I don't know why, and nobody seems to have the answer, but out going has always been better for me

Need to specify NSP or SSP. NSW reports seem to show better catches on outgoing. Kings and macks seem to be caught on the outgoing...like maybe they come there to eat baitfish that are being swept out by the tide. Outgoing at the SSP has never seemed very good in my experience.

Sometime including is better sometime outgoing is better.
I don't usually target mack but I have caught them on both tide... I just target them differently with each tide instead of just aimlessly doing one thing every single time.

I prefer the Outgoing Tide over the Incoming Tide. I like the Outgoing tide better because You can reel different speeds to get the Macks rather than continuously reeling fast. Different ways of Reeling in your Spoon or whatever Jig You are using will also increase the number of Macks You catch. With the Outgoing tide, I also use a 3oz weight rather than a 2oz weight. It gets Your Spoon down deeper into the water column as You reel in.

Same on both N and S piers? I usually Fish the South Pier if the North Pier is full of people. The South Pier is the longer Pier. The North Pier is closer to Me since I live in Pinellas County. Both Piers Accept each other's Pier Pass. Some days I Fish at both Piers. I have Fished everywhere on the Piers. The Ends, Middle & Beginning of the Piers & caught Fish. Both Piers are known for Macks, Snapper, Sheepshead & Grouper no matter where You Fish at on the Piers. Fishing is just Luck. Some days You catch Fish & some days You don't, no matter which Pier & where You Fish at. I have caught many Fish on both Tides. Just pick a 4 Tide Day. So it just comes down to which Pier do You want to try Fishing at. Best of Luck to You & Tight Lines.
