Got to the northside pier on 5 o’clock in the morning. No beats in the morning until about 9 o’clock several Mackerel Work hot couple of them 2 foot range for most of them were just barely legal. I didn’t catch any of the mackerel , but I did manage to catch a couple small gags. Lots of threadfin, birds, and dolphins.Left a little after four.

I ended up leaving the pier about 45 minutes after I made that post. I ended up hooking a king as I was reeling in my trolley rod. Ended up getting dolphined right at the edge of the pier. So the kings in large macro schooling but the timing with Bait is still all over the place.

Thanks for the report calcolator. I’ve been out of town for a week but plan to hit the SSP thurs Let me know how it goes, if the fishing starting to pick up on the southside I’ll start going there more regularly and posting more reports. I prefer the southside pier over the northside as of now. So the more information we all good to each other about the piers the better I’ll be forever one at this point
