I know it’s a late report, but I haven’t been out in a while...
Went out on 11/23 to the SSP about 8am. Bait is there but the water is very clear and the bait was a little deep for the cast net. Used the sabiki to catch some bait instead.
Plenty of pinfish and lizardfish to start. Saw a school of bait come close and took a shot with the net, got lucky and caught about three dozen 3 inch baitfish. Fished until those were gone, and ended with a mixed bag. Small snappers (mango and lane), black bass, and four really pretty but short gags. No macks or blues. Left about 1pm, but totally worth the trip.
