Me and a friend did our 4th 24 hour trip to the Piers, and it was probably the worst one yet. For the first twelve hours we were on the south, the bait was plentiful and had pretty big threadfins and scaled sardines, but that was all it. After we got bait, we went for grouper. Nothing, not even a bite. We would walk to each rockpile from the middle of the south to the end, and nothing showed up for it. We saw one person catch a keeper gag, and another catch some Spanish but there was no luck with the gotcha for us either. After 12 hours of nothing, we go to the north and take a 4 hour much needed nap. We go for Mack's in the morning, had a bunch of follows, and managed a 28 inch Spanish but nothing else. Tried for grouper again all day with using pins, and nothing. The only people I saw catching fish was the group at the corner using a trolly for kings. They caught Mack's and blue runners left and right. We tried for kings with a stinger and balloon rig but no success, but that's expected. No Bonita at all either.

Thanks for the report bud.
