As far as the site goes I can make it do whatever you guys want it to just make some suggestions. If one of you guys wants to administer it or moderate just let know. I put the site up quick when I heard the skwaypiers site was going down so it's not perfect. I will leave you guys to decide what to do.

If everyone does decide to use that site, I'd like to be a moderator. It is nice to cut out the middle man and there limitations and have an actual domain rather than a subdomain. A nice big picture of the skyway on the homepage would be nice too IMHO. ;D

I think most peoples main concern (as it is) is that it doesnt seem to be just about the skyway...other than that it looks great. Much appreciated. I think we are all trying to get over the message board closing and get our bearings. Whatever we do, we want it to be a permanent fix, so we dont lose a bunch of people. In other words, everybody needs to be on board. This forum was created out of shear necessisity out of fear that we would lose contact. Now that we're here, we need to make a long term decision.

I think a few changes would attract more people and having mixed nsp and ssp pics scrolling on the homepage and animated avatars would be a bonus as well. In my humble opinion anyway. But like he stated he can make changes.

I changed the forum, it is now more dedicated to the Skyway (which seemed to be a concern). You can attach Photos in Forum Posts. I can also set it up so every user will have their own 5 page mini website with their URL being www.skywayfishing.com/your_username. To the front page I can add Tides ,weather reports, whatever you want. Another thing to consider is without a real domain google is going to have a hard time indexing the proboard site. Which means it is highly unlikely the proboard site will ever show up in a google search. John

Yes as I stated in my post on skywayfishing.com I totally agree. It is hard for me to believe that anyone would consider proboards as a permanant home. Not sure why everyone hasn't started posting there. The vids are great and having a real url and homepage kicks ass. Just think if the fat lady never sang we would never have had these cool choices. At least John's site brings us out of the stone age. I think Fred Flintstone made the page the government was running.
