Went out snookin fri and sun then hit the pier monday night. Caught a few snook but didn't bring the livewell so 1 bait at a time Tried ariti's but nada. Hit the pier monday night and it was not the best conditions. Managed to get a few and caught the hell out of the grouper but this time he was 1/2 inch shy. Caught 1 monster mang and 3 regs had another monster almost up and spit the hook half way in he was huge Here's some pics! A nice one 30inch Bye bye beachy The small ones are 12 the bigun is 18 Nother Tight Lines ;D

where were you fishing when you got those snook what kind of bait fish? any weight what rig id like to go to caldesi honeymoon island and id like to catch some snook.

there was a report of bacterial contamination in the area of honeymoon island not sure what side though. you may wanna check it out

The first Pic has the Skyway in the background. My guess is he was on the beach right around the corner from the pier at Ft. DeSoto.

Nice fish there fishslayer, allway had great fishing on the point at Ft Desoto. jab, snook are thick as fleas on the beach, we were tearing em up at first light with brown and or blue/green shad swimbaits and silver/blue mirror lures in the surf. No need to wade out, they were less than 20ft off the shoreline in a foot of water. Cast out into the channel between the sandbar and the beach and get ready when your bait get close. Lotta males with a few fat mommas mixed in. To bad you gotta set em free but it sure was a ball catching them
