How many yds of 30lb braid can you put on a reel that can hold 190 yds of 12lb mono?

Its hard to say because it depends on which brand. They vary in diameter. 30lb Power Pro is equivalent to 8 lb mono. 50 Lb is equivalent to 12 lb. So if your reel has an 8 lb reading you would know for Power Pro.
Edit: Just buy a 300 yd spool of 30 lb power Pro and fill your spool, then save the rest and splice it with a Uni to Uni knot if you have a break off.

101 lurkers and only 1 reply...go figure... If you went to the chart that was supplied it would have helped. I believe it's easier to google and get an answer than to post on a forum and wait for someone to reply to your question. As someone mentioned Braids Dynema, Spectra and PE can vary in diameter and breaking strength and price. The latest PE lines are much thinner then Spectra/powerpro and also a lot stronger. This gives you more line and better strength per diameter. Also knowing if you want 4 strand braid vs eight strand. 8 strands are smoother for casting distance, but 4 strands have better abrasion resistance. Generic branded braids are typically thicker than their main brand competitors, price vs diameter and then reliability to enter the equation. Need more line, per spool get PE line. The branded line like Momoi Mx8 is one of the best lines you can buy, but it's expensive, you could pick up a generic brand PE line like Reaction Strike and save a ton of cash. You have your reel, so now you need to figure out what type of line you want need to put on it. figure out your need, budget and make it work from there, not all braids are created equally. Some are going to be thicker, some higher breaking strength then advertised, some cast better, some more abrasive resistance, some pricey some cheap. I use almost all Spiderwire camo stealth braid (10 reels), with a few reels (4 reels) power pro. I'm starting to move over to Momoi PE MX8. I'm trying out Reaction Strike metered line on my heavy shark grouper rods in the heavy lb rating. The Camo and metered line helps me see the line moving if I'm out of ear shot of the drag clickers, makes difference at night time. Hope this helps. SN.
