Got out this morning late, 9am, very few people at the pier.
Strong waves coming from the south and incoming tide
2 small mangos, 8" key West grunt on shrimp and a 15" Mack on cut greenbacks on the bottom. No fight to him at all either. Sauted him in butter, janes crazy salt, pepper, and lemon basil. Excellent eating.
Saw a lot of,small macks, by the bait. Left at 12:30 cause I could, not stand the heat

Thanks for the report, sounds like he tasted really good. Those macks are amazing in a smoker too if you have one.

Thundergills:Thank You for the Report. I like dodging the Heat Myself as well. That is why I go Fishing Just before Dawn until about 11:00am when the Heat starts coming on and then I am Gone. Another Month or So and the Heat will subside and then watch the Fish Bites. The Fish will be More Active once the Water and Air Temperatures begin Cooling Down.
