Does anyone know if the cleaning stations are still there? I get mixed answers, I went looking for them, but I couldn't find them. Someone told me they took them away, because people were taking fish that didn't meet the bag size. Thanks!

No cleaning stations on either SSP or NSP. Ft. DeSoto has cleaning stations as does the expensive Redington Long Pier and Pier 60 in Clearwater.

I saw a brand new cleaning station being installed on the pier by the Park Blvd. boat ramp. It's very nice, with shower head spigot.

We made our own cleaning station one trip to the SSP/NSP. We had a small folding table and a cutting board and used water we had hauled up in a bucket to rinse the fish and rinse off our cutting board. We had all of our fishing gear packed in the car before we started cleaning fish except for the cooler and filet knives. From what we have heard you can clean your fish at the SSP and NSP but you must have all your gear packed up and ready to leave.
There are also nice cleaning stations at the Bellaire Causeway boat ramp with hoses with fresh water to rinse your gear, fish and clean up when you are done. The hoses also work great at squirting the daring snowy egrets who will pester you while cleaning your fish. The snowy egrets will get pretty close trying to steal a meal. The egrets do not like getting squirted.
They also have a bait and tackle shop with live and frozen bait, snacks and drinks available for purchase. When you go upstairs to the bait shop you can go outside onto their deck that overlooks the water and there are chairs and a couch. The deck also has ceiling fans which are nice.

Thanks for all of the replies. YodaFisherman, where is this Park BLVD boat ramp? I live on it, the only one I can think of is the one right off of Gulf when you cross the bridge behind my house.

That's the one and there is a pier right near the bridge. I think it costs $2 to park there if you are not a boater.

I normally pull into the nature walk. Fish there, then move over to the boating ramp.
