All depends on where you are. I believe at the end of the north pier it gets to 25 to 30 ft.. 5 to 6 ft depth plug will work anywhere on the pier. Be warned treble hook carrying lures love to snag, not just rocks, but all the lines draped all over the rock reefs. Soft plastic lures like swim shads work great out there 6 inch, 3/4 oz for grouper.Or heavier . If you want macks you can't beat a clark spoon with an inline lead sinker. Gold or chrome.
