I haven't seen any on that side. There's a few on the north side of the skyway. Oneills and Gator Jims. Tatum's is a little further north and they are open till 10. But you'll have to drive over the bridge if you come from Manatee. You'll also have to pay the toll again. Always call ahead and ask if they have live bait. It'll save time and gas if they're outta bait.

If you take 41 there from Riverview there are 3 on the way. The first is just north of Bullfrog Creek in Gibsonton, then one in Apollo Beach then one in Ruskin by the little Manatee River. I have never been in them so I can't say if there good or not. They are all on the right (West) side of 41 if your going south. Also, when going that way I be found that US 41 vs I 75 is around the same drive time.

There is a List of Bait Shops Up in: "STICKY - Useful Links - Add yours also" on Page 1. Look for: "Bait & Tackle Shops in the Tampa Bay Area".

Saturday morning we hit Skyway Bait and Tackle at 4808 US Hwy 19, since it was on the way to the pier from the hotel in Ellenton.
