Nice Report. We also got there on sat night around 8:30. loaded up with bait and started fishing around 9:30. It was so crowded we couldn't find a spot anywhere after the 2nd restrooms so that is where we fished. We slayed em(sorda) We must have caught over 20 catfish, a fish I could best describe as a batfish(I think it is some kind of catfish but the fins on the side look like wings) and a 15" blacktip. Left around 3:00am. There were 2 big sharks caught out there as well. Down by the 1st restrooms gulf side. 1 bull shark around 5 1/2 feet and a lemon shark around 7 feet.

Thanks David, the pleasure was all mine. Sorry I missed the Tarpon Hook up. Would have definitely added some excitement, even if it was brief. Didn't do any better at the other end. Tried the Gotcha for a while, had a few nice strikes, just couldn't get one on. Saw 3 or 4 Small Macks caught down there. Didn't stay long, had to get back to Z-Hills and cook Momma and her friends some BBQ. Look forward to fishing with you again and appreciate the Rod and Decals being delivered. Got the 6/0 mounted, all I need now is to spool her up and look out. She's a stout pup for sure, may spool her up light and long for Tarpon.

Nah the Sea Robin is also known as the toadfish (I believe) This was a different fish from that. Looked somewhat similar but you could tell a difference. Not sure what it is but I will try and look it up so I know.

Searobins... If ya get em of size.... Are actually pretty darn good. But when i say of size im talking 16 inches an up.. the bigger ones.. up in Jersey they get up to 5 lbs. quite common.. and there similar to whitting.. well worth eating.. but the ones ive seen down here are tiny babies lil 6 inchers or so.
