Monty: Dumb question. What are crack cookies? I might need some. Here is a good tip for others: At the Wagon Wheel flea market, there is new fish tackle dealer in Rows B/C. He sells fish bites for a flat $6 vs almost $6.96 + tax at Wally World.

Not sure what is in them but when you eat one, you can't stop. And when they are gone you start picking crumbs off your shirt looking for just another taste.

If I knew were to buy them I would clean the store out. You know how dealers work. They get you hooked and you will to do anything to get more.

Montyfl making us fall off the wagon...lol.
I gave up crack cookies. It was torture! Sleeplessness, irritability, night sweats. But I persevered and quit them. I was so rehabilitated that I had forgotten all about them. The habit had been kicked!
Then....a new Off Topic posting lit up. Thanks again, Montyfl....

Hey Guy & Gals; Sue gave Me The CRACK COOKIE RECIPE. CRACK COOKIES
INGREDIENTS:1 Pkg Chocolate Cake Mix. 3/4 Stick of Butter, then cool down. 1 - 14 oz pkg caramels. 1 small Can evaporated milk (5-2/3 oz). 1 Cup chopped nuts. 6 oz chocolate chips Directions:1. Unwrap the caramels and put them in a 2 or 3 Cup measuring cup with 1/2 the can of evaporated milk. 2. Zap it on high for 3 minutes in the microwave to melt down and then I stir them with a spoon. This makes it easier when you put it on the brownies because you can pour them out of the measuring cup. 3. Combine the dry cake mix with the melted butter with a fork. Add just enough evaporated milk (about 2 tablespoons) to give it a cookie dough consistency. 4. Take half of the dough and press it in the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan. (It will be a very thin layer). Put this in the oven at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. 5. When it comes out, pour the melted caramels over the top, then sprinkle the chocolate chips on and then sprinkle the nuts on top. 6. Take the other half of the dough and crumble it over the top. Put in back in the oven for 18 to 20 minutes. NOTE: Don't melt the caramels until the dough is in the oven or they won't be soft enough to pour. 7. When they come out of the oven , let them cool for about 30 minutes first, before cutting into squares. 8. Once You have them Cut into Squares, Place them in a Container on top of a Sheet of Wax Paper 9. Put another Layer on top of another sheet of wax Paper on top of the First Layer of Crack Cookies 10. Repeat the Process until You have all of them in the Container 11. Put them in the Refrigerator to Let them Harden up. 12. You can also Freeze them for Later Use. Eat them Up ! DetroitD: These are not recommended for Fish Bait.
