I lately was having the Same Problem that Many of Your were saying about the Internet Explorer "Freezing Up". I began Using the Task Manager & Shutting down the Internet Explorer & then Bringing it back up again. Then I got tired of doing that because it was not Correcting the Problem at hand. So I did a Search & tried a Few things & I found a Fix that Fixed My Internet Explorer.
I have a Desktop 64 Bit Computer with Windows 8.1.
The Problem seems to be Java. I did the "64 Bit Version Update: & It worked. You People who are having this Problem needs to try it.

2b. After Installing the 64 Bit Version, Go into Your Control Panel & Click On Programs & Features & Check & See if You Have any other Java Versions Installed.
2c. If You have a 64 Bit Computer and If there are other Versions such as a 32 Bit Version, Delete it. Then Reboot Your Computer.
