Got out there with 3 dozen of shrimp at around 7am. Weather was nice until about 11pm and it started to rain off and on. Left around 1pm, later than usual because it wasn't too hot. Glad I did because I picked up another pompano because of it. In the end, I bought home 2 pompano and 1 mack. total caught: jumped a tarpon a few time. 1 jack 1 10" snapper but toss it back 2 pompano. Lost. a big pompano a mack. Saw another pompano caught bluefish keeper snapper Heard: *****Permit**** and pompano caught at another spot of SSP   |

Very nice. Was out there last monday and only caught a few silver trout. My father in law on the other hand caught a car doing about 60..

8/17/2014 report... Hot Hot Hot... Didn't plan to go back out there today but didn't have anything to do... so I went. Got out there around 10am. Yes, it's very late... Anyways manage to get a pompano right off the bat. While seeing the guy next to me landed a permit. Then a small pompano. Then another permit 0.o In the end, I think he got a few pompano and two permit. I manage to hook onto a permit and it broke my line... I should have changed line... that's what I get for being lazy... >.< Left around 4pm. In the end, I got 3 pompano, lost another big one. Also lost a permit... it's really hot. >.< A permit that the guy next to me caught, I helped him land it. It's 17", good eating size.  [/quote] Here's my dinner.
