So you know the old saying, "Kids say the darndest things"? My 6 year old grandson Kip has a question he wants to ask, and is anxiously awaiting your replies...if all the ballparks and stadiums in America can have corporate sponsors with billions invested nation wide, could'nt a fishing pier/dying historical land mark be saved by companies like Mcdonalds, Home Depot, Publix ect.? His idea is to erect giant billboards that can be seen from 275 and sell advertising to fund the NEW SKYWAY FISHING PIER! folks I have to be honest, when he first proposed this I scoffed. But then I got to thinking... huh...what if? (remember he's only 6 now) he also thinks the RNC could somehow be used to make the NATION (I'm tellin y'all now my boy is sewious) aware of how we have been let down by our oficials and thier unwillingness to try to find another way other than to just destroy the damn thing!

Smart kid there. I would support advertising on the pier.
But Florida probably has some hashtag law against advertising on state park land, even though the pier/state park is privately owned.....
