What a beautiful day June 1 was. We ran 65 miles out of Clearwater yesterday. It was like glass the entire way. All day long. First spot we hit I caught a smaller keeper AJ. we have some guys dive the wreck while some other free dived and shot a couple more AJ's. We pulled 4 keeper AJ's, some big mangos, and 2 Red snaps. Next spot we hit we started to load up on the Red snaps. We had 8 people on the boat so our limit for the day was 16. We were surrounded by the red snaps. We were afforded the opportunity to not keep any smaller than 20". SO we picked up some nice fat boys and moved on. Third spot was just like the second. A couple more fat boys. We went down and shot some big mangos, a couple hogs, and 2 gags. Fourth spot was beautiful. Nice ledge that opened up to a sand flat. Life was everywhere. Huge french angels, keeper gags, snapper, red groupers, scamps, hogs, mangos, AJ's, and porgies. I just took a couple of minutes and looked all around in aww. Last spot of the day we finished up our limit of red snaps, caught a couple more red groupers and the last line in with a blue runner yielded a 20lb king to top of the fish box. Got back to the dock at 815 and then started to fillet. Was an awesome day.

Yesterday was a fun day with my buddies. The boat which is a charter belongs to my buddy. Yesterday was a guys get out of the house trip because Red Snapper was opening. I'll help out on charters if I'm around. You can check him out at www.fishanddivetampa.comTheres no Capt Bob prices but you do catch fish. Yesterdays trip was a very good one but we pretty much always come back to the docks loadin down like that. We produce on that boat. Theres always some luck involved for a great day of fishing but you also make your own luck. Capt TJ will treat you right if your interested. ISince I just moved down here not too long ago, if anyone is interested in becoming my friend I can try to get you on with us one day for a guys day out. It usually a handful of us and we just all throw in to cover the go go juice, ice, and some frozen dines to get them started.
