The juvenille spanish sardines are those the ones with nast spikes on there backs. Just wondering i use to catch these with my castnet when i fished belleair beach. I never used them for bait but they sure did make my hands feel like crap by the time i got them out of my net.

Ya know i believe what yall are talking about when you say spanish sardines. The occasional chance i got to fish the panama city pier all the bait fish were called somthing different than what i called them in the tampa area. Things that made me go mmmmmmmmm! Are the leather backs with the so=pines any good for bait? Thanks for the grear answer to my previous question.
