HHHAAAAIIIILLLLL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now THAT was some Damn FUN Fishing~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After @ two hours running across 2-5 ft waves at 55 MPH, Captian Jesse stopped the boat about a mile outside of his hot spot and rigged up three lines with his new topwater lures. AS SOON AS we hit the spot he says GET Ready!!, then "I see em on my radar, They're EVERYWHERE!!!!" Immediately, BBAAAAMMMMMM!!!! FISH ON, James' line!!! My line was in the center of the boat, Rich was on my right and he grabs my line to start realing it in to get it out of the way of James' line. Rich might have gotten three cranks on the reel then BAMMMMM!!! FISH ON BABY!! Rich hands me the pole "struggling with it" with a crap eaten grin on his face and says "Welcome to Florida".
Freakin Pricelesss Brothers .
About ten minutes into pulling that fish around the boat with my forearm swollen like I just did a thousand reps with a 50# dumbell, I looked at Rich and it was all I could do to keep from saying take this monster off my hands!! I started thinking that damn fish on the other end was a little too big for me to be able to land. Way more fight then them damn sharks by a longshot, If you put the fight that was in those three sharks into one fish you still wouldn't scratch the fight that is in these fish. I landed the beast after about twenty minutes of fighting what felt like me on the other end of the pole, it seemed like a hour. LOL
THANK YOU BROTHER Tommy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You Capt. Jesse for the excellent adventure !!

Great meeting you too Jay! Whoever bet I was gonna hand that pole off was reaeeaaal close to winning that bet. About ten minutes into the fight, my forearm felt like it was so swollen it was gonna rip the skin. LOL Before next trip I'm gonna start working out about a month before. LOL I got no pics here either but am told they are on the way, snail mail on a usb. Were gonna try to get together again in June, hope you can make it. Next November were gonna try to make a regular fishing party out of this. Tommy and I have both worked on the hotel staff at Surf's Inn to rent Surf's Inn II "the whole hotel, four rooms" out for a week. KILLER DEAL. I've only ever went fishing in deep water one other time @ six years ago with Tommy, this time was much better fishing. Up here in Ohio the biggest fish I've ver hooked was only about 12 pounds and that's considered a whopper. That night after fishing the only thing I could think about was fishing again. I've got a pond on the golf coarse behind me that is FULL of largemouth that never gets fished and they just closed for the season. I might have to toss my ugly stik in the old golf bag and hit the coarse, today might be a good day to try and recapture the excitement of my Gulf fishing trip.
