Received reports of some great mango, trout and squid fishing late last night from the nsp. Anglers catching live squid and sending it to the bottom had snaps chewing all night with most between 14" and 18" Large squid schools have moved into the area and its a feeding frenzy. Also in the mix the past two days have been some large Spanish mackerel with some over four pounds weighed in at the shop. This morning we have lots of bait on top and macks chewing just below them. Great time to fish the night bite and into the early morning everybody good luck.

Great report, Mike. Planning to hit the pier this evening after the storms clear. It sounds like the cooling rains might be helping.
One quick question: Do you know if the trout are being caught around structure? I'm wondering if a popping cork with a DOA shrimp would work like it does in the estuaries.

I was told everything was on the bottom around the structure under the pier with squid.
