My pardoner and I are planning a tip to skyway on Monday the 16th.What are the water conditions and what should we expect to catch?New to bridge fishing so any info would be very much appreciated.

The Skyway is a great place to fish. This time of year you should expect to catch Spanish Mackeral, Snapper, Grouper and occasionally a kingfish or Bonita. You can use shrimp and fish the bottom around the bridge pilings for snapper, pinfish, jacks and an occasional small grouper. You can catch the baitfish you see with a cast net or sabiki rig and use that to either free line or use a cork to catch mackeral. All kinds of different opportunities. Good luck.

Like skyjay said in my post try large chunks of dead fish, like pin fish or lady fish filets, with the mucky water helps the fish locate the bait cuz of the smell
