Went out saturday, all was going well, had 3 snapper on the stringer and the trout seem like they are starting to bite. Then it just takes a nose dive Dolphin came by and snatched 2 of the mangos off the stringer. Wont be using the stringer any more. But then I catch a fat 19" trout. Well its 9 pm and im beat so i go to work filleting my catch only to find the trout has worms in it. Gave it to the birds. And to top it off as im packing up my stuff a bird sh**s on my new hat... I just couldn't let the weekend end like that. Went back out today with my girl and got set up round 11:3 am. Proceeded to catch 7 snapper and roll outta there round 3. Hooray!!! Man those big mangos can FIGHT!!! I love it, went thru about $3 in sinkers tho. I got sick of scaring them off so i just let them swallow the hook, they are all keepers so its not to much to worry bout. I think SkyJay nailed it when he said they speak with each other, seems like each time i would either break off or miss a hook set they would stop biting and i would have to find another spot. But as long as I hauled em up the school would stay put. Heres two different angles of Sundays haul biggest at 16". Now its time to watch some its always sunny in philedelphia i taped and get my beer on. Bottom line Im a happy camper and its only the start of the mango bite

yeah steelcity, thats what i did yesterday, i prefer a stringer but with the dolphin episode and it getting hotter i bring a cooler for the ice and water for rehydration. Just sucks to have another thing i gotta carry but with a shoulder strap on the one i got i manage. My usual load is 2 buckets in one hand, one for the net and one for the bait, a tackle box and 2 poles plus now the cooler. I can manage it but man when that cooler tips even a little bit that is some COLD water running down my back lol.
But yeah all those were caught at fort d. I would like to find something with wheels on it that i can load all that onto but it would have to fit in a convertable mustang and there aint much room in there lol.

Tyler, I bought one of those coolers with wheels and a extendable handle. I made a frame slightly smaller than the face of the cooler. This I cut half circles in and mounted 3 pvc pipes about a foot long. I attach it to the face of the cooler with a rachet strap. I use a single bungie cord to hold a bucket to the handle. I can put my net, rags, ect in the bucket. I set my tackle bag on top and wheel the whole mess out to the end. Works pretty good for homemade.
