i agrree marve, i think they have gone north.
we mave have a few straglers but will have to wait for fall!
time to swicth to poons for summer!!!!

They were still being caught in the Gulf, although now probably further offshore. After that cold front in mid Apr, I think that pretty much did it for the bay. It was a good pier run up til then. Mon Apr 14 was at the NSP, one around 15 pounds was caught, after which I lost an est 25 pounder at the gaff. Then the weather went downhill for the week, which was my vacation week. Had my brother in town from NW FL. Now I will have to wait til fall to try it again. - David I second that. We caught our limit on Kings last week just a few miles offshore. As for bonita I am still trying to catch one of those tasty torpedos

oh well......next fall it is poons.....hmmm i duno have had no luck with those big guys they tend to go under the pier on me
