At my usual spot, caught a small trout barely 15" and two mangos barely 10" so they went back. The only two fish i hooked into with any size and a good size at the went to the dolphins. My first time having to deal with those things and man is it frustrating i just want to start throwing my sinkers at the d*** things. But i digress...another guy jumped a 12' tarpon right in front of me bout 20 ft out and fought him for bout 10 min...Headed out to pass a grille nada..
Not the best weekend but there are some things out there...Seemed like the best bite i had all nite was just after 5/6 right when the tide was beginning to move

Me too! Ive never had a run in with them at the Skyway but at Ft Desoto a few weeks back they were eating everything all morning. I think I saw 3 or 4 people who ended up hooking the dolphins, that was a fun fight to watch lol

I guess Friday was pretty slow everywhere from land.
Was gonna try to make it to the Fort Friday night but had to be up early for beach fishing this morning. The weekend's not over yet though.
