well it was supposed to be an over nighter, but we had car problems. we got a flat right before that little bridge in front of the nsp. green blazer maybe u saw us the spare in the back wouldnt come down we had no were to go so we spent the night on the side of the road. finally a dood has a hacsaw and cuts it down.so we get there aroun 9am went to the end of the nsp and caught a bunch of good size threads. tried for 2 hour on almost every piling from the end to the br to catch snapper on cut threads 1/0 hook but couldnt find 1 on the pilings. a guy caught a big spanish mack on a lure so tried the spoon with no luck. but i did enjoy this guy yelling at this boat with 3 guys cause the boaters casted there sabiki on this guys line( they said the only bait around here was right were we were)so the dude untangles the line then the same boater does it again so this guy takes his gotcha lure and cast over there boat trying to hook there boat then the boater told him to go back to his pier. then i left around 11:30. p.s. i saw that guy again that caght that snook. also some waiders near the rest stop nsp were catching some good fish also.........

Hi jab, I was wondering how do you know if you're fishing directly to the piling? I mean i know there are satelite images, but how do you know for sure?

well i have those problems with the rock piles but u can see the pilings and most of the time see the fish on them. your right on top of them just look down every about fifty feet and theres a piling.

poison, the pilings are the concrete supports that hold the pier up, you can see them directly underneath you. The rockpiles (artificial reefs) are what you see in the sat pics.
