I usually spend about an hour to and hour and a half cleaning everything after goin fishin. Rods, reels, buckets, nets, coolers, tools, etc.
Whats your average gear cleaning time after fishing?

Depending on whether I have been out in the "Filletnrelease" or fishing "Pier Rat" Style, my time varies from 1 hour to possibly 2. This is very dependent on how much help I have cleaning the boat.

Ussually takes us a couple hours to. Depending, on the duration of the trip, how much junk we took, and rather we caught any fish or not. Yeah right... LOL
Gettin ready to go, packin up, loadin, and un loadin , are all part of the fun to me.
I simply love it.

It takes us about an hour and a half to get everything cleaned, then i go through the reels and pull them apart for inspection, cleaning and lubing.

* then if we take my buddys nice boat, well thats alot of cleaning. wich takes the longest.
* but if i just take the waders out, then i just rinse off my gear and im done

I do alot of wading and I am not very carefull. I dip my rod and reel in the water. So I buy the cheap stuff and put braided line on it. It is like, how does the saying go, putting lipstick on a pig, It is still a pig. It is still a cheap set-up. ( yea I know a waste of money but who has time? The honey do list keeps growing. And I get to buy something when the wife wants to spend the money)
