I’m tryin right now… 1am tide movin painfully slow. No flipper around and slow current so freelining good grunts and pinfish around the rocks has been easy but I’ve only gotten one bite so far and pulled hook n was left with a pinfish with a crushed head.. gonna keep tryin but it seems like flipper ain’t around for a reason..

Have seen a video of one of the "Pros" on Yotube trying to catch 'em with no luck. As long as dolphins stay away there is hope!

Talked to a few of the baitshop/misfits, they’ve pulled a few large gags and have already landed a 30in, I got 2 good thumps the whole night, pulled hooks on one and got rocked up on the way in by the other. Didn’t feel like a keeper though probably a little short. They seemed to prefer pigfish over pinfish and grunts, or maybe the pigfish were just swimming better. I didn’t see flipper all night, but he came around for the sunrise bite. Unsuccessful trip but I would have to say that there is hope.
