Like clock work, they strike at 6:30-7:30am. Caught 3 macs off free lining bait. Left at 9am. I think I only saw 1 person spooning but didn’t pay attention to see if they caught anything. The macs are there but in few numbers, I might have to stay away from the skyway till other reports of hotter action come in.
Love to fish the afternoon but too swamp with work at those times.
Good luck everyone, looking forward to see your catches and FWC was out there looking into my empty coolers. Haha.

Question for y’all.. the fish on top is a baby kingfish or jus a lighter colored Spanish Mack ? I didn keep him cause it was too hard for me to tell, jus layed him next to one of my other Mack’s for the comparison pic.. but upon catchin it I instantly notice the difference in coloration, head shape, and tail shape and thought right away I caught a baby king then upon closer inspection notice that the lateral line drop is gradual like a Spanish and also the dorsal fin is black like a Spanish?? Never seen one look like this..

Both Spanish . 100% sure way is the tip of the dorsal fin is black. I’ve gotten Spanish macs with lateral lines that confused the heck out of me. Correct me if I’m wrong.
