I think that the Kings have left town. There have been No Reports from Capt. Mike on Facebook & I have not seen any caught at the SS Pier either. People Today were set up for Kings at the SS Pier Today. Everyone is still Hopeful. You can always be hopeful as there may be a stray king or 2. The king of the Beach tournament is coming up. Check out http://www.oldsaltsfishing.org for registration and details.

Wow, that first one is a big one. I'm sure their on the SSP also. Big Mike just does a better job at promoting the NSP, Where the SSP does nothing. The NSP and SSP are state parks and they need to work together to promote each other. Maybe Big Mike can help the South Pier promote themselves or maybe they can do a joint promotion. The SSP is the longest fishing pier in the U.S. I think and that should be used in the promotions. When you pay your fee on either pier it is good on both piers and for 24 hours. That should be part of the promotion. Also when you pay to fish the Skyway piers or Ft De Soto you do not need a license. All other areas you need a license unless you are going out on charter or other boat like Hubbard's etc. You can verify the rules at http://www.myfwc.com
