Sounds related to the story I heard about with people dragging a shark around.

Some People are just Plain Idiots with No Respect to Anything when it comes to Fishing ! I hope that the FWC or Federal Government Catches that Guy. They Need to make an Example out of Him. The Channel 10 News even Broadcasted it at 11:00pm Last Night about that Jerk. The Guy Dragging the Shark this past week was just as Bad. We All have to Follow the FWC Rules & Regulations and I Think that Everyone Else should have to as well even on the Waters. FISH ON !

So....Not only does he make us fishermen look like idiots. But, he makes us responsible gun owners look like idiots as well. I don't even know what to say. Like why? Seriously? I just want him to answer that for me.

Not trying to stick up for the guy, but I don't see how this is any worse than gaffing that shark in the face or even tail roping it and then cutting the gills with a knife. ASSUMING HE IS HARVESTING IT, and hammers are one of the better sharks to eat, why do we care how he accomplishes that? Gun safety wise, saw nothing wrong. Alaskan guides shoot halibut all the time. Bit startling when you first see it.
All of the above can be scratched off if he just killed it for fun and didn't harvest it. But I don't think we have that info.

It was probably just for Fun & Ignorance ! I Agree, if it was for Harvest, "No Harm Done". Else, He was a Real Jerk.

Hammerheads are a protected species ... in Florida. Good catch SkyJay. In NY and NJ all three major hammerhead species are legal to harvest but none of the three are legal in FL.

Seebird, I signed the petition and expressed my feelings and they were not very favorable for the person (s) who shot or dragged the shark with the 2 cases.

Well i for one will toss this to bookface and make it go viral. Hammerheads are protected, and worthless to eat. This was just a Jabrone trying to show off!
