Nice catches. I live in Holiday it is quite a drive to the pier. I fish mostly evening and night, maybe we'll meet up out there sometime.

Thank you for having me on! I definitely took some tips from these forums prior to heading out there. Very helpful, as I mostly beach fish off of Dunedin Causeway/Honeymoon Island. However, the Skyway has me hooked on coming back week after week. carey , sounds good to me. I will be heading out to the North Side Pier after work on Friday. Probably make my way out there around 9-10 PM.

montylfl If you are referring to the Dunedin Causeway, that is where I have fished most of my life. The snook in my profile pic I caught on the Dunedin Causeway. Believe it or not, caught him on 8lb test. I was trying to fix my snook rod, and I threw out a tiny, 2 inch pinfish on my bait rod hoping something would come along and grab it. Well, that snook nailed it. Rod started screaming, I jumped up grabbed the rod, 30 minutes later I finally got him close enough to grab him after almost being spooled twice, and running out of breathe running up and down the beach chasing my line. Love it there, always have had success on that beach.

Nice snappers! It's hard for me to look at them and not also thinking about frying them up with butter, garlic, and lemon pepper.
