Yep! I want that thing to land in their cheek! D So you don't jig, you just pull up to move the jig? I've thought about using circles, but thought I wouldn't create enough moment with it. Jigs like you normally do.. they hit on the fall and will run and hook themselve.

Jigs like you normally do.. they hit on the fall and will run and hook themselve. That's interesting! I don't have much experience fishing for them, but i actually have felt the bite before. Id did feel more like they just take it and run with it so a circle hook would make sense. What size would you suggest I use to tie?

There are some instant where they peck at it like a ladyfish. You can set the hook with the circle on these bites. Usually happen when water is not moving a lot.
