Thanks for the report. The Two Georges sounds like a good boat to try. So they call k.w. grunts, grey snapper too? Thought Hubbard's just did that.

That sounds like a good deal. I am interested in going on one of these trips. Can you explain your rod/reel outfits, rigs, and water depths please? I just want to make sure I have the correct gear first.

A 12 Hour Trip usually consists of Fishing in 60 feet of Water. The Boat Supplies 4/0 Conventional Rod & Reels.
They also Supply Frozen Sardines & Squid that They Cut Up for Everyone for Bait.

There was a girl who caught a grunt and the deck hand told the girl that those grey snapper are one of the best eating fish out here in Florida I guess tourists would like to eat something that is called grey snapper instead of grunt .

Do y'all bring your own gear or use the gear they provide? That is perfect because I already have a 4/0 setup.

Last time I went with Queen Fleet in Clearwater and took my medium action rods and it was sufficient as we only caught Grunts, but with the two georges I ran into heavier fish and lost them. Also, make sure that you bring sinkers not less than 3 oz. I think their tackle has 3 oz with them. I'd like to go 4 or maybe 5

Also, You can Take Anything that You Like Eat while You are Fishing on the Boat. If You are Fishing for Grouper I would not Use any Leader Less than 60lb. Test Leader. I Lost a Blackfin Tuna & a Grouper using 40lb. Leader last Time I went 3 Weeks ago. Make Sure that You have at least 6oz. & 8oz. Egg Sinkers due to the Current out there. On their Rod & Reel Setups, they Use 8oz. Egg Sinkers. It is a Great Boat to go on.

when I went out with them a while ago my sinker was a bit on the light side... they gave me a sinker to use
and never asked for it back!
If you have questions about your gear, ability or general how the heck do I do this ... talk to the crew they are more than helpful
I expect it is in their interest as well, not so many tangles if every one has a good setup

I plan on booking a trip in the near future. It helps knowing what to expect ahead of time since I've never fished on a party boat before. Sounds like a good time. I will probably bring my 4/0 Senator setup and a heavy 8000 Fin nor spinning setup I have. Thanks for the advice
