Fished SSP from 1030 to 2030 today and like MM said the action was on the outgoing tide. Right when it started going out the fish turned on. I landed a 14" Mack on a threadfin chunk almost a soon as it hit the water. I wasn't even ready and was distracted, but lucky for me the guy next to me yelled " your rod man!" Big thanks to that guy. Hey got at least 3 good macks from what I saw. The lane snapper were out also had half a dozen with only one being a kepper and a 9" grunt too. Only negative was the constant cruising by of flipper and friends. Great day at the peir, just gotta get better at getting more than one mack (only got one 17" last Friday). I tried to set up a spoon just like MM has shown on here, but did something really dumb and lost my spoon. Next time definitely going to use his method.
