Long week of work getting ready to go on vacation and relax in Wildwood, NJ. So it is 5pm and I am home a little hungry so went to the Dunedin causeway. Beginning of the out going tide. Stop at barricuda Bob's for some shrimp and head to my spot. First shrimp, bamm fish on. Keeper snapper. Things are looking up. I will eat tonight. Five mins later a guy tossing a top water plug and gets hit with , I kid you not. A 100lb plus tarpon. Fish feels the hook and jumps and the guy pulls hard and mr tarpon spit the hook. That fish jumped so high it was like tv. Guy said he never hooked one before. He did not know you have to bow to mr tarpon when he jumps. Guy is so shaken up he sits down for the next 30 mins. But I just got my first snapper in my first cast so I need to get back to work if I want to eat. Few minutes later another snapper. Too short back he goes. Few more minutes another hit. Big lane snapper. This goes on and one until7:30 when I ran out of bait. Some big hits. Some I got rocked on. One rocked fish I wait 30 mins with slack line hoping he come out. No luck. All in all a good day
