We all had a Real Nice Time. There were plenty of Keeper Fish was Caught on the Trip. The Trip started out Bad because some Jerk just had to bring some Damn Bananas on Board the Boat which slowed the Fish Bite. Once He ate His Damn Bananas & took a Crap, then We all had to Fish pass the Toilet Paper Floating at the Back of the Boat. After is All Cleared, the Fish Just Turned On. I guess the Fish did not like the Bananas either. Everyone aboard the Boat was saying, "Why did he do that" ? Many People do not believe in the Superstition but I do. Anyway, After the Bananas were gone, We All got some Keeper Fish. More Pictures of the Fish Caught on the Trip are available on Facebook.

Everyone caught a lot of Fish. Most of People on the Boat "Maxed Out" on the Red Snapper.
If You find the Picture of the Blackfin Tuna, I hooked into it & it bent My Rod over the Rail farther than I thought My Rod would bend. I knew what I had when it hit My Bait on the Hook because it had happened before to Me several Years back. After about two minute or so of struggle, it then broke My 40lb test Leader when He dove back down. About 30 seconds later, You could hear another Person yelling, "I got something Big & and it is strong over here". I knew that that Person was going to have a struggle on his hands. And He landed it. I then replaced My broken leader with another 40lb. test Leader & it got Broken Off on a Large Gag Grouper. I then upgraded to a 60lb Leader & that was when I caught My Gag Grouper. I did not have any more problems after that. I caught quite a few Fish(Gags & Red Groupers & Red Snappers) that were too small & returned them back to the Sea to get bigger. It was a Fantastic Deep Sea Fishing Trip.

Anyone that wants to have some Fun Catching Fish & cannot handle a 27 or 30 hour Trip should Book a 12 Hour Trip on the 2Georges. I just Rebooked on the 2Georges on the 8th of July for their 12 Hour Trip. That way You don't have to walk the "Skyway Pier Miles" to Find the Fish. If You sign up for that Trip, Message Me & Give Me Your Fishing Position. It is $ 120.00. Why go on any Deep Sea Fishing Trip when You cannot catch Red Snappers. Here is the Link for their Trip: twogeorgesdeepseafishing.com/special-trips/4456905

Mackerelman: Great to read about the productive trip on the 2Georges. I think your cooler is nicely stocked with some really good treats! That Blackfin Tuna sure was a bruiser! You know how I feel about the banana thing...but that guy should have followed the Captain's rules and NOT brought bananas on the boat.

Seems to me FWC has got to either open up Red Snapper season more or increase bag limit.
I heard some complaints yesterday because everyone was limiting on ARCs but couldn't get past them trying for other fish!
There's a Captain that has a YouTube channel I follow and he's out of Pensacola. Seen the same thing with him. It's like the ARCs are almost a nuisance fish, he kept bringing them up and continually releasing them.
FWC is protecting them too much in deference to the commercial fisheries. Recreational anglers need to keep more or have a longer season.
Those of you who receive surveys from FWC please make the rec fishers' voices heard and fill them out, comment, provide input!
Ok, off my soapbox now. Just hate to hear of so many fish going back with a diminished survival when quality fish could go into coolers.

DetroitD:I understand Your concerns & Yes, maybe the Limits on Red Snapper Catching Dates should be expanded but it could also hurt the Population of that Fish. 20 to 30 Years ago, My Employees & Friends that Fished used to Catch Gag Grouper at the Skyway Piers almost every Day that We went Fishing out there. Now it is Real Hard to Catch a Legal Size Grouper. All of Us Fisherman have Over Fished the Skyway Piers for Gag Grouper. That is one reason why they are not plentiful any more. If We over fish the Red Snapper, We will be in a real fix. I have never seen a Red Snapper in Tampa Bay. Has anyone out there ever seen one in Tampa Bay ?

It is the NOAA/gulf consuler that does not. If you look up statewater it is like 91 days. They want to put the red snapper onto the tag system to make more money... >.< www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sxz3kk7X48U

Six Hours Out & Six Hours Back & 15 Hours of Deep Sea Fishing. From what I am hearing from People that went on the Hubbard's Trips, They did not do as well as well. We may have not Totally filled our Coolers but We did take home some Nice Fish. Next June We can do it all over again.

i wholeheartedly agree with everything you said about the ARCs buddy. 🤣 Says a guy who limits out on them danged things in probably an hour offshore (take 2 please), I figure you would. So I say to you, do what you can to get the legislators, FWC, Feds or whoever to open this thing up for recreational fishing. D

i released more red snapper unharmed than most people have ever seen. Trust me, the 6 legal fish I was allowed to keep didnt put a dent in the population. Theyre everywhere. Weve encountered them as shallow as 36 ft and as deep as 225 ft. Hoping for some extended season dates to thin the herds some more because they are displacing other fish, namely Mangrove Snapper
