The chunky mangrove snappers I caught star with a supporting role of baby shrimps. Greenery galore supplied by green beans and baby spinach. The briny broth enhanced by the appearance of shallots, carrots, celery and mushrooms.

More apt for cold weather, but I had a hankering. Trying to ditch the carbs so no rice or noodles necessary. Brushing up on my "food blogger verbiage".

Looks edible, for sure!
Anything special to make the broth? Secret seasonings you'd like to share?

Looks edible, for sure! Anything special to make the broth? Secret seasonings you'd like to share? Somewhat cheating. I bought this packet of "Fish Tea", as far as I could tell it was Jamaican. It's a fish soup powder (to my surprise a bit of noodle in it). It makes 2 cups. I also added 2 cups of Better Than Bouillon made chicken broth. The 2 seasoning broths were real nice. I'll put a pic up of the Fish Tea packet next week when I buy another one. The Better Than Bouillon is a paste avail Publix, Walmart. D
