Hey, somebody must have been out there sometime, and caught something. If it's only a few threadfins, please say something.

I was out there Saturday. My friend was complaining it was slow, so we went to ft de soto instead. It was slow there as well. Got a bunch of bait for Sunday offshore trip. Ended up with these guys. Limited out on them in 1 hr and the rest of the time, played with the grunt and porgy. Also lost something really big... straighten both hooks...

Great fishing again Tears; you slay them inshore and offshore. Nice!

It was most likely a kingfish or wahoo. It was on top and we saw a glimpse of it attacking the bait. Pretty long fish. Anyways, we went again today and killed it also. 4 people limits.

How do you get away with having freeline or was with a bobber on a deep sea charter and not get your line in the way of other people on the boat? I've wanted to have a line out on top but couldn't figure out how to not have it interfere. Must be a bobber right?

It's private boat. Just leave it either on the top rod holder or the one behind the boat. The rest of us would be just fishing on the bottom. As long as you leave enough line to float it way back, you'll be fine.
