Not to be a Ney Sayer, but............ Don't believe everything you read.. Sure some people can go to the pier and claim a limit in a few hours..... but most of us gotta work hard to put 1 on the deck...... Fishing is fishing, not catching.
But.. you cannot be catching, if you are not Fishing... so get after it put your time in, and hope for the best. Report honestly and you will sleep well with full bellies.
Anyway who's actually fishing, when its NFL Draft night? !!!

yeah skyjay, i was wondering who would question that report, considering it was also put out by the guy or company that i guess owns the pier

Foster (Pier Associates)owns the concession to run the pier, not the same as who wrote the article. Anyway, I have never taken those reports seriously. |

But I will say the bite at the fenders by the bridge is hot so it makes sense the fish would be bitin at the pier.
If you can stand the Riff Raff that has infected the place.
I mean dam! Where do these people come from.
Last time I went to the South Pier I dreamed that night they put a trailer park at the end.
In reference to Havetofish's post about the pilings/ reefs ( llll /ll\ ) while it is a fact the reefs line up with the /ll\ pilings dont overlook the areas in between when freelining for Gags. Fact is Ive caught most of my bigger Grouper adjacent to the actual rockpiles walking my bait from side to side. That plus when you hook a really big Gag directly in the rocks he ussually aint comin out.
Just sayin.
