i have a few rods that need an eye or 2. Some need tips some need guides. Some are 20lb class some are 40 lb class. if anyone on here does this let me know i have a bit of work for ya.

eaglesfanguy I don't do them myself but I had a couple of rods worked on here while back at Southeastern on Florida ave in Tampa. Sorry I can't remember the guys name but he did a pretty good job on mine. riverviewsteve

I do rod repairs, but currently I don't have any of my supplies in stock. Like RiverviewSteve said. Southeastern would be the place to go. Gary (the repair guy) will take care of you. He does an excellent job. Should cost about $8.00 a guide + material.

Thanks blacktip. That was his name. Gary. I know he did a good job for me. I had a boat rod I found years ago and had him put a regular tip on it. He did a couple of my reels too. riverviewsteve

Yea, i have had southeastern do some before but they were rude and acted like they did not want to bother doing it. that was also a few years ago so maybe they have changed. Tips i can do but the guides look like Schit when i do em. rather have it done right.

Bretts in largo does a great job. The guy at Dunedin bait does a great job too

Took em to Gandy bait and tackle.... Love those guys there. Got the tips done on site waiting on the guides sometime this week..

The rods look awesome. Well the new guides look awesome, the rest of the rods are a bit weatherd.. they did a good job, cost of 25$ for 2 guides. I am happy
