Lol Monty, I woulde be interested in a December trip. I need to find out what there gonna focus on. I would assume Red grouper and grunts, maybe seabass. I usually stop headboat fishing when the seasons close. But since the Two georges switched to hogfish, and did that pretty freaking well. I assume they have a plan for the winter fishing. It might be something we have been missing out on..... hmmm.

Maybe I'll play hookie that day too. What the hell, they treat me like crap at work anyway. I think they're targeting hogfish. At least thats what the web site seems to say.

I went today. A grunt trip. I must have caught 40 of them by myself. Still in my cooler. I'll get to them tomorrow. Maybe 6 legal size gags caught, but, of course they had to be thrown back. Didn't see any keeper red grouper or any hogfish. A pretty good day. And, I got some fresh fish. I aint complaining. It's what I expected.

Nice...... Yea i never got around to asking what they focus on in the winter months. I assumed grunts. Glad you had fun Boston.. I might go next weekend.. i got alot of friends who are fiends for fresh grunt fillets. Went to the flats at the south skyway pier saturday, bunch of small seabass, 2 keepers about 12 inches . 1 10 inch pinfish,1 10 inch grass grunt, and several spot tails, and small grunts.

I caught more than I thought. Final tally was 46 grunt and 1 porgey. Thats by myself fishing a chicken rig using the boats squid. I fried some, and baked some and still have a bag of fillet left. It ain't glamorous, but it works for me.
